Welcome the sacred month of Ramadan in the heart of Fes – an intentional reset rooted in sisterhood and slow daily practices, guided by the timeless rhythm of the medina

Why Ramadan in Fes?

Fes is a city where sacred time still feels tangible. Its ancient Medina is a living tapestry of masājid, learning, craft, and quiet devotion -inviting you to slow down, soften your pace, and welcome Ramadan with presence. With the historic Al-Qarawiyyīn Masjid, founded by Fāṭimah al-Fihrī, at its centre, and the many zawiyas woven through its streets, Fes offers a rare opportunity to experience a Ramadan that feels deeply connected, and full of lessons for the traveller and seeker.

This journey of the heart brings together worship, reflection, and sisterhood in one of the Muslim world’s most remarkable, heritage-rich cities, insha Allah

What to expect

This is an intentional, women-only Ramadan reset designed around a gentle rhythm: shared suhoor and iftar, nights of prayer, moments of dhikr, and curated cultural experiences. Expect a warm group atmosphere, a simple structure, and spaciousness for personal worship and rest. We aim for a grounded experience – meaningful, unhurried, and held with care
